《Reuters》報導，國際原油價格大跌近 7%作收，美國原油庫存再暴增引發市場賣壓。

美國能源資訊署公佈最新數據顯示，上週美國原油庫存量暴增 1095 萬桶，遠超過分析師預期 340 萬桶，而累計庫存量再創新高來到 4.8239 億桶。汽油庫存量則增加 81.7 萬桶，遠超過分析師預期減少 1百萬桶。 消息一出油價應聲暴跌。

分析師表示，這回數據對原油價格非常不利，因為連美國國內汽油庫存量都隨之增加，可能暗示連汽油都開始供過於求。此外，產油國伊拉克與利比亞自三月開始紛紛增加原油產量，石油輸出國組織 OPEC 每日整體產量因此增加 3150 萬桶。分析師指今年想要出清大量原油庫存相當不容易，油價可能難有起色。

5 月美國輕原油期貨下跌6.6%，收在每桶50.42美元。

5 月布蘭特原油期貨下跌3.30美元，收在每桶56.90美元。
