《Bloomberg》報導，最新聯準會 FOMC 會議結果出爐，內容顯示聯準會內部對於升息時間意見紛歧，沒有一致共識。

部分官員認為，目前的經濟數據與未來展望均顯示六月份會議上可以開始準備升息，將基準利率緩慢調回正常水準。但另有官員對此持反對意見，認為能源價格低檔盤整、美元持續升值將持續對通膨率造成負面影響，有必要至少延後至下半年升息。還有官員認為不到 2016 年經濟表現不足以支撐基準利率調高，對於何時升息無法達成共識。

會議結果顯示，聯準會視就業市場持續改善、能源價格回穩、外匯市場穩定為決定升息與否的重要因素。只要通膨率隨之上升至目標，升息就不是問題。不過自上次會議以來，諸多經濟數據表現均不如市場預期。分析師普遍將此歸咎於冬季氣候、能源價格衰退，經濟表現能否隨著氣溫上升改善有待觀察。
