新北市政府交通局為提升計程車駕駛人外語溝通能力，改善對外國籍旅客之服務品質，開辦計程車駕駛人英日語會話班，即日起（4月9日）開放報名，預定4月23日開班，交通局為鼓勵計程車駕駛人參與，將提供免費文具用品及上課當日市民廣場地下停車場免費停車券，有興趣的運將朋友快報名。

交通局表示，104年度新北市計程車駕駛人英、日語基礎會話班，特別與文化大學推廣教育部合作，希望提供計程車駕駛人優質的基礎會話課程，並於結業後頒發結業證書以茲證明。凡設籍新北市、領有北北基共同營業區縣市政府核發之有效「計程車駕駛人執業登記證」之計程車運將（非設籍新北市可排候補）可於104年4月9日至4月20日上班日9：00～12：00、14：00～17：00撥打（02）8965-4555報名，額滿為止。
