葉倫：油價重挫有利美國經濟

聯準會（Fed）主席葉倫於台北時間18日凌晨3時舉行記者會時表示，油價重跌有利於美國經濟，對通膨則僅有短暫影響。

葉倫在記者會上表示，油價重挫是近來形塑全球前景的最重大發展之一。她說，低油價對消費者帶來的正面影響可比減稅。

葉倫也指出，低油價的影響可能擴散至核心通膨率，但「我們認為這些發展只是短期因素」。
