中國湖北武漢即將舉辦屈原的拜祭活動，並以古禮進行，但其中還有一項有趣比賽，是安排4~12歲兒童背誦屈原名著《離騷》。

據了解，大會規定，只要有學童能搶先成功背誦全文，就能獲得1萬元人民幣獎學金(約新台幣4.8萬元)。不過這項比賽已舉辦4年，至今仍未有學童成功領取獎金。《離騷》全詩共373句，2490字。
