美國華盛頓州一名女高中生敏德(Brittany Minder)，日前想參加學校舉辦的舞會，並穿了一件在加拿大購買的紫色低胸禮服，但是敏德穿這件禮服欲參加舞會，當場遭到門管人員拒絕進場，原因是「胸部太大」。

敏德說，這件禮服確實讓她的胸部曲線明顯露出，但是沒有過度裸露，也沒有違反校規，雖然她後來加了一件披肩才獲准入場，但她仍然感到不舒服，覺得這是對大胸部人的歧視。

敏德的母親事後表示，她認為校方需要給更進一步的說明和解釋，她還說：「每個人生下來就不一樣，不能把高爾夫球和葡萄柚相比。」
